This is a convenient supercharger that is cheaper than the uptown super charger. But there's less care and maintenance done by the Pearl ridge shopping center management to keep the area clean. It feels like Tesla owners are outcasts banished to the forgotten outer edges of the mall. But it's covered so shade when it's sunny and dry when it's rainy. If you go to planet fitness, you could get a quick workout while you charge. I would give it 5 stars if it was better maintained.

Not your standard supercharger station! Compared to other supercharging stations this location has very few chargers. You will likely need to wait in line for 5-10 minutes depending on how busy it is. Charger work fine but you will have to pull up all the way to the curb to plug your car in.

DON’T RENT A TESLA! This is not a supercharger. I’m sitting in my car and it’s charging at 47kw!! I had 34% and it takes 50 mins to get to 100 since I’m driving around the island! The charger is shared w 2 other chargers that are hooked up to a generator. I had to wait in line for almost 1.5 hours! You can find free chargers at Ala Moana mall but it’s like charging at home! It would take all day to get a full charge and you’re limited to 2 hours. The chargers are located all over the mall so drive around and look for it. Good news… there’s a sign that 32 superchargers are in Oahu. I guess this information has been around for couple of years according to a local. I would pay the extra $6 to valet your car at the Kahala Hotel supercharger if I’ve known it would take this long!!

Super fast charger and low rating certainly comes from the customers’ frustration of the long waiting time to get your charge. We have spent 1 hour waiting for our turn. During the full charging session you have approximately 30 minutes to eat something or do some shopping. In 2024 Tesla plans to open additional 12 charging stations , which shall expedite the process of charging and cut the waiting time in the line. If you are a tourist in Oahu , we don’t recommend electric vehicle as the power comes from oil power plant 😅🫢 and you can save some time for other attractions than sittings in the car and watching Moana🏝️

DO NOT RENT AN ELECTRIC CAR! It seems like there is a higher concentration of electric vehicles in Hawaii and not enough chargers because no one needs to drive long distances. This supercharger is a perfect example. The only one in Hawaii which results in insanely long lines. I waited for 2 hours just to charge my rented Tesla to 80%
