Albuquerque, NM - Lang Avenue Northeast Supercharger

Super inconsistent charging rates. Will shoot as high at +200 and then drop to 35 making your wait time go between 20 minutes and 2 hours. The car says charging is limited by the station. Well there is myself and other car spread 8 stalls 🙄

charging always reliable as with most Tesla superchargers. but several of the stalls look like they’ve been vandalized - cases torn open, bent, or the whole charger leaning. pretty rough but i guess that’s ABQ for ya.

There is one post, A1, that is accessible to non Tesla cars with a driver side front charging port which is nice.  The downside to this place is all the parking spots are extremely narrow, we were barely able to squeeze in to the stall with another car in the space next to it.  They would not have been able to use their driver door or us our passenger door at all.  It works with non Tesla if you have an adapter and it's in a decently clean and safe location with a pizza store and a Bass pro shop nearby.

The Tesla Supercharger here at 5151 Journal Center Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 is very convenient to an Albuquerque Marriott in case you want to Supercharge before going to bed and continue your trip in the morning. It's also convenient to Interstates 25 and 40.

The Supercharger would have been difficult to find, but Elon, my chauffeur, found it for me.

I'm getting an extremely slow charge. There's a note on my screen saying that the reason my charge is slow is that the battery isn't warm enough to accept a faster change. That's a poor excuse. The computer controls the temperature of the battery. It's not a cold day. It wouldn't take much electric power diverted from charging the battery to heat it up to an ideal temperature.

There are 8 stalls at this supercharger station and all of them are working for this visit.

This is a good location with a Pizza restaurant, a cafe and beautiful mountain views.
