  Avoid unless it is an off-peak travel day. The chargers work but this rastställe is generally overrun, and it is hard to find un-occupied toilets. There is a hotel nearby which tells you to get lost if you don't order food (and waste a lot of time). There is a McDonalds which wants machine payment for the toilets even though they don't have time to service them properly. The tankstelle nearby has payment toilets but there can be a huge queue. Find another place to stop if possible. You are not really welcome

  This was my first time here. Unfortunately, there are only a few charging stations. However, they work perfectly. There's a KYC (Know Your Customer) station and a McDonald's. Unfortunately, McDonald's only has pay toilets. On the other hand, the parking lot is very spacious overall, and it's quick and easy to get off and back on the highway. Therefore, it's a good charging spot.

  Warning! This Supercharger is located in a narrow McDonald's parking lot that is heavily frequented on weekends. Yesterday, June 2nd, 2024, I experienced firsthand that all available parking spaces were occupied by a car with a combustion engine and a Skoda. When I asked them to move the charging spots, the drivers ignored me. They told me I could charge somewhere else and that electric cars were the worst anyway. Since I didn't want to argue with these guys, I charged my Tesla in the adjacent hotel parking lot, where there were still over 20 spaces available. There, a hotel employee tried to move me. If I hadn't been at my car, he would have placed a parking ticket under my windshield wiper, which he already had in his hand. After this experience, I recommend avoiding the Pfefferhöhe rest area altogether. The staff there are apparently very rude, even in situations where you are personally not at fault. I didn't have enough charge left in my battery to drive to the next Supercharger.

  Numerous functioning Tesla Supercharging stations are available. As usual, they work well, parking spaces are sufficiently wide, and the charging station is accessible from both sides. Electric cars can also charge easily with a trailer. A hotel and two fast-food chains are conveniently located nearby. It's a great place to pass the time, even with kids. All tables at McDonald's are equipped with power outlets, perfect for charging your phone and other peripherals. Tip: Even non-Tesla drivers can charge at the Tesla Supercharging station if the Tesla app is installed and configured and the vehicle has a CCS connector. 46 cents/kWh at up to 250kW is a reasonable offer, in my opinion.
