AI Overview
The charging stations are located in a parking lot at a closed Steak n' Shake, with a new Chick-fil-A now operating nearby; its drive-thru line may block access to the charging spaces during peak times. The lot is illuminated and has pull-in parking. Multiple older driver reports described trash and overgrown conditions, though more recent visits suggest these issues may have improved. No restrooms or food are available at the station itself, though a McDonald's is across the street.

I find it funny the chargers are right in the Chick Fil A drive thru!!

The new Chick-fil-A is open and their drive -thru line is in front of the Tesla charging stations. I would not recommend charging during Chick-fil-A peak times or you will have to wait until the drive thru lines moves out of the way to leave your spot. This is a poor design for a charging station!

Located behind abandoned steak and shake. Parking lot is full of overgrown grass and massive holes. Gross. Do not stop.

This is always my first stop if I’m heading on I20 west. I’ve stopped here plenty of times but this time I’ve never seen this location unkept like how it was. The trash receptacles are over flowing with trash everywhere and people seem to just keep leaving their trash anyway. I’ve never seen this location like this before.

150kW charger that charged at 125kW (which is a welcomed performance compared to the Washington Road Augusta Charger). The charging is in a closed down Steak and Shake parking lot and the area around the charging is very littered with trash (see photos). The challenge with this location is that it around a run down area. Should improve when the restaurant opens back up (if it does eventually).

Behind the stake n shake, stopped here at night so it wouldn’t have been open anyways but it appears to be permanently closed. 150kW chargers. Next time I’ll skip this and go to the one in North Augusta at Circle K.
