AI Overview
Chargers here frequently operate well below advertised speeds; drivers regularly report sustained charging rates of 25–75 kW rather than the rated 350 kW capacity. Multiple chargers are often offline. The station sits in a lit, free parking lot with pull-in spaces and trailer parking near Panera Bread, identifiable by bright green lights at night.

Charged 2026 Lyriq V at this location. Very fast charger. No problems at all..Was there at 430 in afternoon on a Monday. No wait

Another charging station with multiple broken chargers. What’s the point of having a network if half of it doesn’t work? EA seriously needs to maintain their equipment — this has been happening way too often. Very disappointing experience, again.

These hyper chargers are not fast at all. I've been sitting here for 50 minutes and it has only charged 12% more than what I had. There is another car next to me that has been sitting here even before I came. I used that same charger last time and it was just as slow. It charges between 12-25 kw...350kw I wish. I know my car can take the charge faster because I have used others and I was at 80% in no time. Unfortunately, those charges are not in Bakersfield.

With our own CCS adapter we were able to charge our Tesla model Y with no problems. To precondition our battery for faster charging we chose to put it in defrost mode about 20 mins before we reached the EA chargers. It did charge a bit faster, but nowhere near the 350 kW speeds advertised… Panera Bread next door provided clean restrooms. After hours, though, the shopping center doesn’t appear to offer many other restroom options.

No Tesla adaptable charger!! On the Electrify America app it shows that this station is compatible with Model 3 Tesla charger, they are not!- thus the low rating. They are the COMBO CSS charger that the Tesla adapter does not fit on! Maybe because they are mostly 350s not the 150s and 50s claimed on Google - the one 150 charger is missing from its slot. Don’t get caught low on battery here with your Tesla! If you do, in the parking lot next door behind Hobby Lobby , but with a separate entrance there are are a few ChargePoint chargers that work with the Tesla adapter - they are slower at 6.1 only so maybe 10-14 miles per hour.
