One of our favorite charging stations. Restrooms at the Marriott and a bar for a quick cold beer!

The Tesla Supercharger station at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott is a convenient and accessible stop for electric vehicle drivers traveling along California’s Central Coast. Strategically located in the hotel’s parking lot, it’s easy to find and ideal for a quick charge, especially for those heading north or south on U.S. Highway 101. Its proximity to the freeway makes it a practical option for travelers who don’t want to stray far from their route.

The Santa Ynez Valley Marriott is situated in Buellton, a gateway to the scenic Santa Ynez wine country and just minutes from Solvang, a charming Danish-style village. While your Tesla charges, you can take advantage of the hotel’s amenities, grab a bite at nearby restaurants, or simply stretch your legs in the pleasant surroundings. Charging times are typically fast, thanks to Tesla’s Supercharger technology, and the area generally has reliable cell service and a safe, well-lit environment.

Whether you’re road-tripping through California or just passing by, this Supercharger location offers both convenience and comfort. It’s a great stop to recharge your vehicle—and yourself—before continuing your journey through one of the most beautiful regions of the state.

The STATION NUMBERS are WRONG!! Incredibly frustrating. Eventually figured it out, after trying multiple numbers... it is the number on the bottom right of the left side of the charger, NOT the number listed next to the plug. Would possibly make sense if the problem was reversed (and in they were trying to assign the parking spaces), but this is clearly an error.  UGH!!!

Visited Santa Ynez on 06/10/24. The chargers worked just fine. They seem to have upgraded them and there were plenty available. Conveniently located in front of a Marriott with restrooms available if needed.

I’d give zero stars since Chargers are not set up. They are out of service ( at least on April 6th 2024) . Closest superchargers are in Goleta. Solvang has very few chargers.  Don’t look at google to help find superchargers. Trust what your Tesla tells you!!

Beautiful setting for a supercharger at the Marriott with a pretty rose garden out front where you can walk your dogs. Recommend charger 5B across the way because 5A is only for wheelchair accessible parking.
