Buttonwillow, CA - Cal Club Rd Supercharger

There is absolutely nothing good about this place. First off it is a ways from the freeway. Very dark. Then driving to a shed and need to sign in like you're going into some secret govt locale. The guy in shed had a much personality as a rock and strongly emphasized that the speed limit was 15 mph. Nothing is lit, except for some very dim lights around the chargers. Its all very secluded. I charged for 5 minutes and got out of there. You're better off going to the chargers on Stockdale

This is a supercharger in a race track. So you have to sign waiver. Very convenient for tesla track day

The guy who works here at night behaves very rudely; he repeatedly loses his temper and says all sorts of things—one moment he says one thing, the next something else. I tried very hard to reason with him and understand why he was speaking that way, but he just kept telling me to leave and not to come back. I had to charge my device night, which is why I came here; otherwise, I had no intention of coming.

They finally opened this charging station, but there’s still a security guard at the gate, and everyone in the car has to sign in before entering the property, which is very inconvenient. They now have portable toilets, but there’s no food or drinks available after 5 PM.

Don’t go to this place at all.

How can Tesla even work with such a place?

First of all, it’s off-site. You have to sign in just to get inside — and every person in the car has to sign in.

By the time we got in and started charging, he came rushing over and told us to leave or he would call the cops. All because one of the signatures was written in two spots instead of one.

Seriously? Was I supposed to force my 80-year-old father, who has low vision, to sign perfectly?

What if I didn’t have enough charge to go to another charging station?

It was 11 PM — they would need a new sign-in sheet anyway!

Instead of helping, he got angry over a small signature issue. The way he treated us was extremely rude and felt racist.

Tesla needs to pay attention and CLOSE this site
