City of Sanford - 101 East Humber Street

Google maps says Shell, but Shell app doesn’t show this charger or work. There is no evidence this charger has anything to do with Shell. It appears to have been installed by Duke Energy. There is a tiny EV Connect sticker — hard to see — so I tried that app and it worked.

Depending on the app you have. You will need to have $50 to use the charger.

I thankfully have their old app from way back. So I can just use my wallet with out the $50 holding fee because a girly broke all the time.

First supercharger in Sanford. Works great

Great fast charger in SANFORD!!!!!! Only 2 in this town. Easy to use, no wait at all, part of Duke Energy NC.

Glad to see another charger in Sanford, but why in the world would anyone install a new CHAdeMO charger in 2023? This should have been an NACS plug instead...what all manufacturers will be using in another year.

Shell was good after i figure out how it works lol so if you have a EV car keep a eye out for the big SHELL... PEACE
