Charging speed seemed to be a lot slower than my car expected, was supposed to be a 18 minute charge and ended up being 35. I saw 150kwh @ about 30%, should've been at least 200 at that state. Bathrooms are beyond disgusting as other reviews mentioned. And while backing up into the charger, people trying to get to the pumps seem to be impatient to wait 5 seconds for you to back up into your spot. Avoid if you can.

The superchargers themselves are ok, but I do wish they had squeegees and trash cans out at the chargers. The Royal Farms on the other hand is a dump. It's only been open for just over a year, but it seems like it's been neglected for a decade. Trash is full, out of many items, bathrooms are disgusting, and the men's room door has never worked right (scrapes the floor so the door doesn't open and close without much force). The only redeeming factor is the chicken does taste good. I recommend visiting one of the other chargers in the vicinity.

They might be newer chargers, but the bathrooms here are disgusting. I’ve stopped here a dozen times traveling I95 and every single time the bathrooms are nasty. Today, 9/18/2025, in addition to the men’s stall having nastiness all over, the soap dispenser doesn’t work and the sink doesn’t drain. The sink has a pool of mold in it. I saw 4 people working there. Can’t imagine any of the food being cooked with clean hands in a bathroom so bad.

Stopped here on the way to DC because it’s a V4 charger.. initially the charging speed was around 200 kWh but gradually dropped.. Once I increased my charge limit to 90% it dropped to less than 50 kW .. did not expect this had to sit in the car for over 20 minutes.. Come to V4 for charger so that we don’t have to wait for a longer time .. but this charging speeds defeats the purpose..

Visited here during the Thanksgiving rush of 2024 Despite this being the newer V4 chargers, it was slow due to every charger being occupied (even at close to 10pm at night) The Royal Farms gas station which the charger was located in is brand new and had a decent coffee/tea setup especially at that late hour. Bathrooms were clean. This is one of the few V4 chargers in central VA near i95
