After trying 3 stations, I’m finally able to charge. They either tell you they’re out of order after you pull into it, try endlessly to connect, or don’t start at all. Once it even locked on and I couldn’t pull the charger out of the socket. I just had to cancel the session, but it was annoying and a bit scary there, for a minute! Why is it so difficult to maintain these chargers?? Oh, and there is nothing to do here, except maybe eat at the Belgian Waffle House. I will say, once I found a charger, it was a pretty quick charge. Hence two stars instead of one.

This was my first time ever charging an EV and it was easy. I wish I knew prices up front but it was affordable and simple to find and use.

The all the 350kw chargers are extremely slow. I've tried this location many times now. The best I get is 75kw at the 350kw chargers. Any other location I get 150kw to 180kw. My vehicle is capable of 190kw.

This EVgo station at 737 Wendy Dr in Thousand Oaks offers a convenient and generally reliable charging experience for electric vehicle owners. The location is easily accessible, and many users have found the chargers to be in good working order. Based on personal experience, it took 41 minutes to charge from 67% to 99%, adding 21.3333 kWh at a cost of $17.50. The charging speed will slow down as the percentage pass 70%. The charging peed observed was 6kW, as indicated on the charging station's display at the point of 99%. Here's a summary of what users are saying about this location and I agree too: * Accessibility and Convenience: The station is conveniently located with nearby freeway and few amenities like DelTaco and minor shopping. * Charging Speed and Availability: The station has multiple fast chargers, including some with up to 350kW, reducing wait times. The EVgo app makes the charging process easy to manage. * Reliability: While most users report a positive experience, some have encountered issues with chargers being offline or experiencing slower charging speeds than expected. It's advisable to check the EVgo app for real-time availability before arriving. * Cost: Pricing varies depending on the location and your EVgo plan. Real-time pricing is available in the app or at the charger. Overall, the EVgo location on Wendy Drive appears to be a solid choice for EV drivers in Thousand Oaks, but it's wise to stay informed about charger availability through the app.

3 of the 8 weren’t working. And I learned you can go to a super fast charger, but still not get super fast speed. Dollar tree and auto parts only thing around unless you want Taco Bell or go to a learning center.
