AI Overview

Chargers are located in the T.J. Maxx parking lot and not visible from westbound NY 100. Multiple drivers report that chargers frequently deliver significantly slower speeds than advertised; consistent issues with reduced output have been reported over time. A single Level 2 charger sits behind one of the DC fast chargers, potentially blocking fast-charger access if in use.

This charger has been broken for years, it just started functioning this year. I finally got to use it like any other charger and was told i will be billed $2.86 for my time. After all said and done and unplugging, this company Electrify has the audacity to put a $50 threshold on my account only to adjust and charge you the actual price for your charging 48 hours later. No where on the machine does it tell you about this threshold, the only extra fee that is disclosed is a 10 dollar idle fee per minute, only charged if you use the charger beyond a full charge. This is a whole separate charge and when you call electrify and ask to adjust it they say there is nothing they can do until the 48 hours are up…a prepaid wallet with a minimum threshold would be a lot smarter than charging your customers 50 dollars upfront with no disclosure. I’ll never use this charger again i had to call my bank call electrify and was left just waiting for my money back.

2/2025: Waiting 😩 3rd in line. 2 behind me! These stations are ridiculous. Correction: 3 behind me!!! The gray Volkswagen Uber takes 10 minutes just to start charging. Maybe her first time. Then the white Hyundai in the photo returns after what I’ve been waiting about 45 minutes to restart his charging from 50% ?!!! And then he leaves again!!! Update: his new charging ALSO stopped!! All that time taking the charger for nothing. 5:18pm. Waited an HOUR so far and I still have a car in front of me. And the 3 behind me still waiting. The middle Chevy bolt is charging at 17kw… 😩😩😩 Update on Chevy: this guy charged to 100% at 5kw at end. He should be banned. 6pm: FINALLY got in. 😂😂😂😂😂 Previously: Open again. But always a line with Ubers usually charging to 100% 😤 Let’s be more considerate and just charge what you need when people are waiting!! Previously: They’ve put tape all around and it is out of order.

Revamped charging stations with 350 kw chargers. The new chargers went online early Sunday and have been busy since. EA still needs more capacity urgently in Westchester County. There is space for another 350kw charger in the easternmost bay which now features a broken Level 2 charger. Update on 11/10/24 - the Ultra 150 kw charger output 200 kw at the beginning of my charge session yesterday and i went from 8% SOC to 80% in exactly 30 min!

Station just opened back up with brand new charging stations, but they still only give you less than 1/5th the advertised charging speed. It’s labeled 350kW but in reality you’re lucky if it hits 70kW, and it’s usually less. Called customer service, who act like this is a new problem and went through the process of rebooting the station, but after looking at reviews on here it’s obvious that these chargers never get close to 350, it’s just straight up false advertising.

Ultra fast, sometimes. The max power has always been throttled down to below 50 the few times I've successfully charged here. I'm typing this at charger, only one charging at 11p. I have a heap of time left. I've tried during the day. This particular tends to be down for maintenance a lot and I'm told that the aforementioned low output is a common occurrence as well. The only plus is that it's currently free for me through their promotion. There are only two Electrify America charging stations in the area. I'll gladly pay at another vendor for speed and reliability.
