The station is co-located with Fuel City, a large gas station and convenience facility with bathrooms, food, and a car wash. Bathrooms do not open until 5am. Parking is free and pull-in style with lighting. Drivers report the area can attract large numbers of birds in late afternoon and evening, and note the neighborhood feels sketchy at night. Some non-Tesla vehicles have experienced charging errors or significantly slower-than-advertised speeds.

The price is great at 3am! We were here 2 years ago on a trip and it’s totally changed now! Looks like Tesla is adding 10 new stations! The farm area for the long horns 🐮is moved to make the room for the extra stalls, this will be a great addition. No pull through spaces. The fuel city gas station bathrooms don’t open until 5am

Nice place to recharge your Tesla. You can look at the beautiful longhorns while recharging your car. Turn your head and you will see downtown Dallas. If you are thirsty no worries there is a tunnel full of drinks inside the shop. Hungry no worries it’s tacos time. There is also a car wash. When you are at Fuel City Ranch you know that you are in Texas !

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Fuel City in Dallas, Texas, for a Tesla charging session. To my delight, the location offered fast Tesla Superchargers and, surprisingly, a group of friendly longhorns nearby. These charming animals added a unique and memorable touch to the charging experience. Upon arriving at the side of the gas station, I was immediately greeted by the longhorns who seemed quite curious about the Tesla charging process. Their presence made for a pleasant and entertaining visit as my vehicle charged. I arrived at around 5:40 PM, and fortunately, I didn't encounter any panhandlers or safety concerns during my visit. However, I would exercise caution when visiting the area at night. Overall, Fuel City offers a truly "neat" experience for Tesla owners looking to charge their vehicles while enjoying the company of some adorable longhorns. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind spot that makes for a memorable and enjoyable visit.
