Edgecliff Village, TX Supercharger

It's nice to have posts available, but when almost none of them are working right and I have to switch over and over while my car is dying... It's not great. And paying surge prices when there's nobody else here. Just seems crazy

I have a Nissan Ariya with the Tesla adapter. This is one of the main places that I charge at when I'm on the go, and it works perfect every time

BE AWARE!! This charging station placed a $60.00 hold, which is exorbitant in the firat place, on my card on Aug 12. The final amount posted same day but 6 days later and the hold has yet to be released. No other charger that I have used has taken more than 1 day to fall off. I will never use racetrac chargers by choice again.

Drunk in a Accord/Civic will purposely block charging spots and walk inside the Convenience store. He will flick you off if you drive a Tesla but won’t make eye contact. He’s usually here around 7pm if you’d like some entertainment

Received the Tesla adapter for my 2025 Kona Electric last Friday and tested at this station. Going from 45% to 80% charge took about 25 minutes, starting at about 75 kwh and dropping to about 45 kwh as it got closer to 80%. So, good experience, I'm pretty sure the slow charge time is a limitation of the Kona battery, not the station.

Nice 250 kw fast chargers that's recently new to this location as of Jan. 2024.  Down the street isn't the best spot so Tesla was definitely being cheap when they decided on this location. I think the Hulen Mall down the highway would've been a better location, but this location works after the mall closes as it sits in front of a gas station and Taco Casa. The Hulen Mall has some 3rd party chargers and there's a movie theater next to the mall. So you can charge for free and watch a movie or shop if you have the time during the day. Like I said the area is questionable down the street which makes the supercharger location feel somewhat unsafe after midnight when the gas station and Taco Casa is closed. That could be because it's kinda dark and less traffic late at night. At 250kw you'll be out of there before you know it.
