Great place to top off before entering the National Park.

The last reliable, publicly available charger from here to the Mt Rainier National Park entrance.

Some will tell you that there are chargers inside the park at the Longmire Wilderness Information Center or the Paradise Wilderness Information Center, but I didn't see any of them. The staff at Longmire told me they have exactly one L2 charger and that was taken up by someone for the next 6 hours. So no, unless you have access to destination chargers at the hotels or lodge where you are staying, this place is it.

Did not work with my Tesla model 3.  Had the right addapter.

It did work with a Nissan Leaf that came after us.

No shops around carry Tesla adapters, so please don’t forget to bring yours. There are no reliable Tesla EV chargers at Mt. Rainier, except for one super slow station at the Alexander Lounge — it costs about $50 just to get 9% charge.

I charged my Tesla to 100%, but by the time I arrived here, it had already dropped to 64%. Driving up to the Skyline Trailhead takes another 25–30% of battery, and coming back down to the closest Tesla super charger uses about 34%. This means you will got stuck in between with no way to safely go further. You must charge your Tesla here before heading up — otherwise, there’s no way to reach or return from the higher areas beyond this point.
