Folkestone - France Bound Only, UK Supercharger

Excellent Tesla charging facility right on the parking lot in front of the departure terminal for the train tunnel towards France. It's located behind the check in point, so you need a valid ticket for that day to be able to access these chargers. Very convinient to charge your car while waiting for your timeslot to board. Right accross from the eating and restroom facilities.

This is exactly the sort of charging stop you hope for when travelling, fast, reliable and positioned where it actually makes sense ⚡

The chargers are easy to access, work without fuss and give you that reassuring feeling that your journey is back under control within minutes. No mysterious error messages, no interpretive dance with apps, just plug in and watch the battery climb.

What makes this location particularly useful is that it is ideal before or after longer journeys through Kent, especially if you are heading towards the coast or coming back inland and need a proper recharge rather than a gamble.

There is enough nearby to make the stop worthwhile too, so you can stretch your legs, grab a coffee or something to eat while the car quietly gets on with things. It turns charging into a sensible break rather than dead time.

A very dependable stop that does exactly what you want from public charging. Fast power, straightforward setup and no nonsense, which in EV terms feels almost luxurious 😄

We received a fine for charging our mini here. The car park is private for the hotel and we gave a 5 star review because all we had to do was to call the hotel and ask them to cancel it. They were very helpful!
I’ve posted this as I can see others felt they had to pay the fine. There is a code in the hotel for you to register your car to avoid the hassle.

Perfect location for convenience, right across from the main concourse.

Be aware that there can be a charging limit of ~80% applied if its busy. But this is good because it keeps the facility shared between as many vehicles as possible.

FOR LE SHUTTLE TICKET HOLDERS  FRANCE BOUND ONLY. Easy to find, Google Maps gets you within 20mtrs of the chargers. Easy to use, v2 but side located so cables will reach. But I would imagine these are rammed during peak times, so I wouldn't rely on them being readily available. They probably need at least twice the number.
