Gloucester, UK - Northbound Supercharger

4 of the 8 Tesla chargers are out of order resulting in a 1-hour minimum wait in an unmanaged, congested area where people constantly try to push in.

Awful facility!

8 chargers and 4 out of order. Open to non tesla as well 🙄 At least get all 8 working.

Half of the superchargers are out of order. It was really difficult to actually get to use one, no etiquette whatsoever and several drivers simply pushed in when bays became free before I could get to it.  2 drivers were hogging them when I was there (charging for the duration of me waiting and my charging session which was over 40 mins)
They are Available to non-Teslas - that’s part of the problem. The non Tesla chargers opposite are double the cost per kWh so everyone wants to use the superchargers and often, non Tesla drivers are stood by the charger faffing about on their phone for 10 mins to initiate the charge..  There are rows of chargers on each side so it’s hard to manoeuvre in and out of the bays as traffic approaches from both ways.  They need a 1-way system to enter and exit the area where the chargers are - this would reduce pushing in as drivers are currently entering the chargers from 2 directions - in my experience, I waited patiently for a free bay and on 2 occasions when I attempted to get into one, someone approached from the other direction and took the bay.. It’s the last time I use them.. too much hassle, really fraught and stressful, higher chance of encountering entitled idiots.

Nice fast chargers, the only down side is there's not a lot of chargers, and they're open to all car makes, which as they are considerably cheaper than all the other chargers there (and there's quite a lot of non Tesla chargers) can mean there's a queue to use them. If the other companies stopped ripping people off this wouldn't be an issue.

As a non-tesla electric car owner, I felt a bit out of place trying this charger! But as I had no choice because the opposite chargers by Swarco were not working, I gave it a try. What a simple experience! The charging worked first time, consistently above 60kwh for almost the whole charge and the Tesla app is very easy to use. I would 100% recommend any electric car owner to use this as your first option if stalls are available, it makes the other networks seem archaic by comparison! I should also mention it is about 10p a kwh cheaper than the opposite chargers as well!
