Golden, BC - Highway 1 Supercharger

At an order gas station with the amenities and many fast food options. No grocery store nearby. Very busy with lots of trucks nearby.
There are plenty of chargers here, but since there is few parking spaces for the gas station, I see non-EVs parked in charging stations.

This supercharger suffers from inconsiderate and at times abusive ICE drivers using the spaces for Tims parking. Last Sunday, 5 spaces taken by ICE cars and some ladies luggage!  Only 2 Teslas. I recommend the 250kw charger about 500 m west at the Subway. Never any ICE or other cars there.

8 charging stalls, but there were 4 ice vehicles blocking spots upon arrival.  Luckily there were no other teslas charging.  The Tim Horton’s is very busy, with a line up of 20 people out the door.  Save your self the hassle and grab a coffee and washroom before charging from one of the local cafe’s.

Good area to walk a dog and go for a quick walk while charging.

Charger worked normal

This was a good place to stop and charge, but definitely a busy parking lot. No doubt having 250 kW stations available is a huge upgrade over the shared v2 stations at the other Supercharger in town.

There's a handful of amenities nearby within walking distance which is great, and this location is right off the highway too which is convenient on a road trip or passing through Golden.

Some better signage to differentiate these spots and keep trucks and ICE vehicles further away might be helpful, but especially at night when I visited, it wasn't a concern.

A decent location for proximity to bathrooms, and food, but the spots are regularly used by ICE vehicle owners. The 150kw supercharging location nearby tends not to have this problem and is recommended if you don't need the absolute fastest charge.
