Grantham, UK Supercharger

Easy to find a short distance from the A1. Charging fast enough on my visit. Toilets, food shop, Costa and a fast food joint too. All good for a decent quick charge/rest stop.

Connected to cabinet 8 via pedestal 8B.
Preconditioned battery, with low SOC, only got a flat-lined 129kW all the way up 46%. I should have got ~144kW for the early part of the curve. Site was fairly quiet, so unlikely to be a network limitation. Perhaps one of the modules in cabinet 8 is down.

Painted lines of the parking bays don't properly align with the pedestal, I had to move the car outside of the lines to allow the cable to reach.

Services are just fine, clean toilets, and they even have a Burger King!!

Very fast chargers great services and lots of spaces available

16 superchargers (150kwh) at this location, only 2 were occupied. 42p off peak rate. reached with 10% battery in MY LR, and charged till 80% in 30 mins. the place has services facilities with toilets, and decent food places like Burger King, KFC, Costa and Greggs. It also has around 10 non-tesla chargers, but price is on a higher side (62p).

Easy to access as just off the motorway. We charged from 10% to ~95%, which is like ~270 miles, in an hour or so. We came
around Saturday lunch time and it was busy, still a few places left. The car park was well kept and clean.
There’s a small service center in the car park where you can get some coffee and fast food.
