These superchargers were pretty busy for it being almost 11pm on a Friday. We took the last open stall out of 8. Everyone seemed to charge pretty quickly because it cleared out in about 10 minutes. The area is pretty sketchy and not well-lit. There is a trash can available at the end if you have waste you need to get rid of during your travels.

This 8-station charging station is in the parking lot of the John Wesley Powell River History Museum. There is a good-sized park adjacent to the charging station as well as the museum restrooms, which are usually open even when the museum is closed. If you want something to eat while waiting, you will have to cross the street to the Tamarisk Restaurant. You can also walk to the west side of the museum and sit along the banks of the Green River and enjoy the view while waiting.

Eight super fast chargers next to the largest watermelon in the world. Don’t get too excited, it’s plastic. There is a watermelon stand but at 1 pm, it was closed. No shops around but there’s The Powel River Museum, telling the story of the town (how it was a popular port with the best fruit of the area and then it was a uranium mine). Beautiful river access and picnic tables with shade. A nice place to stop if you have a dog with plenty or green areas to run and poop bags. There’s also a restaurant across the street.

We were here on a Sunday morning when the museum was closed, but the outside entry bathrooms were unlocked and clean (photo attached). Great place for dog walking. There are covered picnic tables, too.  Nice restaurant across the street if you have a long charge. Have to stop somewhere else for convenience store or fast food, though. $0.33/kWh on 2-25-24

Great little trail along the river to walk your dog while charging. The Tamarisk restaurant across the road has good food and great coffee. Couldn’t get to the end zone on the charge. Slowed way down to 8kw/Hr even though I was the only car
