You have to spend 50.00 in the hotel in order to avoid a $20.00 valet fee. Then they charge you for charging.

This is a scam and Tesla should address it! It's a cash cow for the resort having a supercharger on their property and basically doing nothing and collecting a $20 fee for the valet to drive your car and plug it in. Tesla advertised ALL of it's superchargers as free access but I guess just another one of Elon's promises that turned out to be not true. And shame on the resort for taking advantage of people just needing to charge their vehicles. What a rip off! Someone should sue Tesla for false advertising and sue the resort for holding a supercharger hostage that should have had free access.

The Tesla Supercharger is located in a gated parking area that’s only accessible through valet parking. The $20 valet fee plus the charging cost isn’t a problem—I wouldn’t have minded waiting at the hotel while the car charged. But when the valet said he couldn’t park or plug in the car using just my phone and needed the key card, that became an issue. So, guys, either bring your key card or key fob, or don’t waste your trip here.

The location is nice HOWEVER, the only way to supercharge here is to pay the valet $20 dollars for an hour of “parking”. You can get the valet ticket validated if you spend $50 in the resort but… Tesla owners be warned, while this station is recommended in the car, it comes with a hefty price.

Definitely worth it. You can pay valet 6$ for 20 min charge and chill over there or grab a snack/lunch from any restaurant over there and they can validate your valet pass and in that case you don’t have to pay anything.
Resort is beautiful. Check out the dolphin pool. :)

Only 2nd Supercharger in Oahu. But hotel owners made private road to charge. This is a property by Tesla! Only parking by valet. Valet cost 50$ and 20 min parking 6$.

80 kw * 0.51$ = 40.8$
Parking 18$
Valet 50$.
Total 40.8+18+50=108.8$ and 2$ tips for valet. 110$
