Houston, TX - Northwest Freeway Supercharger

The Tesla Supercharger is in the parking lot of Rudy's BBQ.  Had a great breakfast taco while I charged.  Nice place.

I recently stopped by a Tesla Supercharger in Texas during a road trip, and I have to say, the experience was incredibly smooth. The location was easy to find and conveniently placed just off a major highway, which made it a perfect pit stop for a quick recharge.

As expected, the charging speed was top-notch. I was able to add about 200 miles of range in just under 30 minutes, which allowed me to stretch my legs, grab a snack, and get back on the road quickly. It's always a relief to see those supercharger stalls with available spots, especially during peak travel times.

The Supercharger station was clean and well-lit, with plenty of parking spaces. There were some fast-food spots nearby, so I could grab a bite while I waited. Some charging stations in more rural areas can feel a little isolated, but this one was in a well-traveled area, which added to the overall peace of mind.

The station had access to restrooms, which is always a plus for longer trips. There's also a nearby convenience store, which made it easy to pick up drinks or snacks while waiting. The area felt safe and welcoming, with a few benches around if you wanted to hang out for a while.

I loved that the Tesla app gave me real-time updates on the charging status. It allowed me to track my progress, so I could easily manage my time without having to hover around the car. It even notified me when I had reached my desired charge level, which is super convenient for avoiding overcharging.

If you're driving through Texas and need to charge, I highly recommend this Tesla Supercharger. The combination of speed, convenience, and location make it a reliable option for any road trip. Plus, the experience just feels effortless—Tesla makes it easy to keep your journey moving without any hassle. Looking forward to more of these pit stops on future trips!

There are 4 damaged ones, so only 4 stalls working. I had to wait for a spot, but thankfully not more than 10 min. There is a Rudy’s to stop at while you wait, so it’s a good location.

Slower than usual superchargers. Also seemingly damaged chargers that are improperly put back into the slot holder. Come on people do better. Be careful if you’re coming in from the back part because there’s are three MASSIVE pothole that are one sure way to mess your tires up

Went here to charge but was blocked. See all the gas cars that block EV chargeing. What can be done?
