I Park - 145 W 56th St

I’ve been training at this gym for over a year, and I can say I feel very comfortable here. The staff is incredibly professional and always ready to help. They are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and approachable, which makes a big difference in the overall atmosphere.
The equipment is top-quality, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for all kinds of workouts.
Overall, it’s a real pleasure to train here. The environment is motivating, the service is excellent, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this gym a great place to work out.

The new 24hrs operational hours are great. New equipments are amazing. But please, it’s been forever, you need to fix your 2nd floor ceiling situation. You’re waiting for a lawsuit to happen. I’ve seen many ppl recording n taking pictures I’m assuming for their records.

This place has seen a major downgrade since the transition from Blink Fitness. Like most businesses that are purchased by private equity, you’ll find that things at this gym have gotten worse.

First, the positives — the gym is open 24/7, whereas it previously was open from 5a-11p. Curious to see how that impacts the cleaning schedule, though… They’ve also replaced some of the strength training equipment.

The negatives — the entrance experience (airlock doors that require you to scan a QR code from the app to get inside) feels pretty dystopian. The cardio equipment is more limited than it was in the past and now all of the machines are on top of each other (treadmills are all touching, there’s barely a foot between you and the people next to you). The general vibes are also worse, with TVs not turned on and no music playing.

Like most things in society, you get what you pay for — Blink happened to be a really great value and a really great gym. The new PureGym is, admittedly, still quite affordable, but the value and quality has gone downhill. If you’re looking for a dirt cheap, no frills gym (with a hint of dystopian vibes) this place hits the bill. If you want anything more, find somewhere else to work out.

The membership price is right and in addition they have different ongoing promotions. Great area and easy access to club by their app. It’s crowded at certain times but still not a long wait for equipment. Members clean machines after use. Ok selection of equipment and in good operation. Friendly front desk and lastly clean and spacious dressing room with lots of lockers. This is a gym that serves its purpose.
