Kings Park, WA Supercharger

Plenty of chargers.  Fast.  Great location e good coffee and walking.

Easy access and great place for a walk while charging.

Pretty good spot to charge, it's accessible to all vehicles with CCS2 plugs, including Non-tesla vehicles.

As of the time of writing you'll need to install the Tesla app to charge a non-tesla EV, and if you're not subscribed to their charging plan it'll cost you more than other offerings (Evie Networks, WA EV Network) in the area during busy periods.

Hyundai EGMP (Ioniq5/6/9, Kia EV6/EV9) owners note: This is a 500V charger, so your car will use its onboard booster to charge. This'll mean it'll slow down your speeds to about 75kW max.

LFP battery note (BYD, Model 3 SR etc): This charger also has time-of-use charging, so if you come here during a busy period and are thinking of hitting 100%, Tesla will slap you with a surcharge for going above 80%. This is to keep people moving during busier times, so if you're looking to do your weekly 100% hit? Do it during quieter times, usually the morning's pretty good.

In saying that, this is a pretty reliable charger in a really good location. Koorak cafe is nearby as well as a really nice park area with lots of shade and gazebos and such. There's also public toilets in the area which is pretty neat too. Works flawlessly if you're a Tesla owner, slightly clunkier if you're not one, but it's still one of the most reliable ways to get a charge in Perth.

I knocked one star off for two reasons.
One, Tesla chose to use V3 dispensers here, meaning you need their app to pay for charging. V4 dispensers come with the option to have card readers built into them, meaning they can make it way more accessible for more people who choose not to have another app on their phone for charging.

Two: I really wish they had more chargers available. Doubling or even tripling the capacity of the site would help apartment owners in the city to adopt EVs in general.

To add, 50% charge, it took our new tesla 40minutes. Pretty scrappy 'supercharger'.
Also priced quite heavily. Rural charges cost significantly less per kWh.
