This charging station has always been plagued with issues several chargers can be done on one time causing a backup and they have limited it to 85% charging just be aware it could be on point or it could be a long wait! I've owned my EV forward 5 years and it's very hit and miss

I came on a Friday morning around 7am and zero wait with a Fry's Food Store and Starbucks at walking distance! Great location and good clean chargers!

Google maps was showing open but all chargers were unavailable (broken) upon arrival. I picked this one because it made the most sense for my route but only has 3% charge by the time I got there which left very little option for me. Luckily I was able to get home on my remaining 3% but this disrupted my plans as we were going to go else where after charging. Lesson learned not to rely on Google but instead check the EA app first.

Update, 2/15/25: unfortunately this EA charging site will down until sometime in April. This location is one of the 2 EA charging sites available to all of the NE valley. Hopefully EA will add additional chargers here, an additional 4 would be wonderful, so the wait is eliminated. Update, 1/15/25: about 6 months ago or so, EA upgraded the chargers in this location to their newest hardware all 350kW units. Since then, I haven’t had any issues charging at this location. I am changing my rating from 2 to 4. The only remaining issue is that this location could use another 4 stalls to reduce/eliminate the wait, which currently sits at 15-20 minutes at times to get to an open spot. The issue with this charging location is that none of the 4 stalls deliver power anywhere near the advertised amount. They are claimed to be 150KW, but the best I’ve ever gotten out of them is ~50. More often than not they are on reduced power. If you’re traveling, don’t count on this location for a fast charge.

Conveniently placed in the SE corner of the lot away from all the people/traffic and right near the parking lot entrance. Very convenient in the grocery store parking lot!
