Lamont, FL Supercharger

Dirty gravel truck lot behind a gas station. Feels unsafe. Slow charge.

No problem with the Tesla machine or charging. However, it’s in a lot lizard sanctuary off to the side of a dirt parking lot for semi trucks. We were here in the daytime and it was sketchy. No way I would use this at night. Backs up to scrub bushes. Very easy for someone to hide in and do nefarious things to Tesla chargees.

Compatible w Mustang Mach E. Truck stop location. No wait. Any time I come it’s almost always empty.

Busy but Well-Maintained — A Standout Supercharger Stop

This Tesla Supercharger was packed when I arrived — definitely one of the busier locations I’ve seen — but everything ran smoothly despite the traffic. Plenty of drivers coming and going, but no long wait times, which was a nice surprise.

What really made this stop stand out? It was super clean and had something surprisingly rare at many charging stations: an actual garbage can. Sounds minor, but when you’re traveling and juggling coffee cups, snack wrappers, or just trying to tidy up, it makes a big difference.

Overall, despite the crowds, it was a well-kept and efficient charging experience. Would happily stop here again.

There are 8 Tesla superchargers at this location. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and 5 of the 8 chargers were available. About 200 feet from the superchargers to the truck stop. Lots of snacks to choose from in the store. I suspect it is not well lighted at night since I did not see any lights at the supercharger location. All superchargers seemed to be working at our arrival. Men's bathrooms needed cleaning and one of the two urinals was not working. Otherwise, a good place for a quick charge.
