AI Overview
There is only one charging stall here. Multiple drivers report frequent technical issues — chargers displaying error messages, failing to start or communicate with vehicles, stopping mid-session, and requiring multiple restart attempts. Recent positive reports suggest it can work, but reliability appears inconsistent. Physical credit card insertion may be needed if wireless payment fails.

What a POS charger. Card reader broken. Then charger has to be reset. 15 minutes just to start charging and had to call. And it’s NOT level 1 charger. It’s 3x longer than a real level 1. There only parking for one car to charge. An hour and 20 minutes to charge what should take 30 minutes. Should be a crime for stealing g people’s time. 2.99 just to plug in. Credit card reader broken

The latch on the slow charging system grip on the NE side of store entrance is broken. So it initially says charging, but 2 min later says disconnected. I tried it several times trying to baby it bcuz all other slots in use. Then someone left from the faster charging NW side, so I tried to use the charger one far left with jumbo hose that fits the Nussan Leaf, but the screen wouldn't change from #2, no matter how many times I tried disconnecting & hanging up & reinserting. Total nightmare & waste of 45min of my time. These desperately need servicing. FYI, I have used the fast charging successfully at Lazy Acres several times b4, so this is a newer problem!

There aren’t enough spaces to park and use the chargers. The evgo app told me there was availability but there aren’t enough reserved spaces for charging cars, unless you also have a handicapped placard. The signs also say that you should only do “fast charging” but the app says that you could also use them for level 2 charging???

My lucky day! 0930 on Thanksgiving morning - traffic was beginning to get heavy and the ONLY parking space in the Lazy Acres parking lot was right in front of the store entrance - the space reserved for the Ev charging station. If only I’d remembered my wallet…. EDIT: I tried again on Saturday, December 10. As I waited for the Tesla driver to leave (she couldn’t get it to work) I crossed my fingers that my Leaf could “get some”. Nope. Glad I’d planned for another failure and had enough electrons to make it home. Please, EVGO. I really want to like you.
