Always use these chargers when I’m in the area. Great speed and always reliable

Love this services for a splash and dash on the way back, but Tesla introducing a new traiff, leading to more stops for some people than required now.

if you now charge over 80%, it is an extra 50p per min. While there is plenty of chargers why is this even a thing. It used to be £1 per min at 100% and that makes a lot of sense, maybe even 90%, but 80%!? They know the car charges really fast to 80%, then slows down, thus Tesla making more money.
This lead to me taking up a charger on the way back when I try to only use a single charge and do the whole journey.
Take note of screen before heading in to the services.

As soon as you come of motorway. Plenty of charging stations and more being build! Long walk to facilities for someone with mobility problems

Meant to be 250kwh speed but we averaged out at 60! It was cool outside but wasn't sharing any chargers with anyone else particularly. 16 spaces available, all working. Located at front of the carpark, you cant miss them on the right when you enter car park. 41p/kwh on Saturday morning (April 2024). A 2min walk to the Moto service station (toilets at the other end of the station). Other Gridserve chargers available too.
