London, UK - North Greenwich Supercharger

Slow charging, which meant that it took longer than an hour, and I got charged £14 for parking there. It's a very busy charging area, and it's slightly chaotic because of the way Tesla doesn't allow you to charge the other side of the car. It's designed for Teslas, which charge on the left; most other cars charge on the right, so if you're charging a non-Tesla car, it's inconvenient. If you do use the place, make sure you go into the hotel and figure out how to validate the parking. That said, you only get an hour, so if the charge is slow or there's a queue to get started, you're going to get done. Very weird indeed to have a charging environment inside of a paid-for parking environment. Do not recommend. Probably cheaper to go to somewhere else that charges more per kilowatt but doesn't do you fourteen quid for parking.

2 of the Charges were not working 5B being one. First time here and there was a short queue. Good location inside the Intercontinental hotel car park on the left as you drive in past the barrier.
You will need to pay after 30 minutes normally, but it's free for 1 hour if you validate you car in the hotel main entrance.
Next time I visited , had to wait 30 minutes for after charging point.

Charging early in the morning around 8:00 a.m. went smoothly. The chargers are located in the parking area of the InterContinental Hotel at The O2 in London. That said, 8 out of the 12 chargers were already occupied, which was a bit more than expected for that time of day. Charging worked fine overall, but the speed was slower than I would expect from a supercharger.

Waited 20mins for a free charging spot to open. You have non-Tesla cars taking up 2 charging ports because of where their charging port location is. Had 2 cars parked in the charging bay but not using it. One was a ICE Mercedes, and the other was a BMW electric car but wasn't being charged (both cars got fined though).

If you're parked here over 30mins, you need to validate your car. If you go the main entrance of the hotel, just on the right there is a tablet you can register your licence plate for free 1hr parking. No need to go to the reception desk.

Charging Layout Needs Optimization for Non-Teslas

The Supercharger station works well for Teslas, but the current design creates inefficiencies when non-Tesla EVs charge here. Unlike Teslas (rear-left charge ports), other cars have ports on the front, right, or side—forcing them to park head-first or at odd angles. As a result, they inevitably block adjacent stalls due to bad stall spacing.

Suggestions for Improvement:
1. Clearly mark stalls -  add signage for optimal parking.
2. Extend cable lengths or adjust stall positioning to accommodate different port locations.
3. In-app guidance for non-Tesla drivers to avoid blocking multiple stalls.

For Non-Tesla Drivers:

- If the cable doesn’t reach without blocking another stall, try a different spot or wait.
- Avoid using shared-power stalls (A/B) when possible to maximize charging speed for others.

This is a growing issue as more EVs gain Supercharger access—hopefully Tesla can adapt the layout to prevent wasted space and wait times!
