Macquarie, NSW Supercharger

If you own a Tesla or other EV CARS and need to charge quickly, using a Tesla Supercharger is the best option. These chargers are designed to provide a fast and efficient charging experience, allowing you to get back on the road in minimal time. To get the best charging rates, it’s smart to check the time slots through the Tesla app. Rates usually vary depending on peak and off-peak hours, so charging during off-peak times can help you save money.

When visiting, the Superchargers are conveniently located near the valet parking area, making it easy to access and reducing the hassle of finding a spot. This location is quite popular, especially during weekends, so expect high traffic and longer wait times. Planning your visit during weekday mornings or late evenings can help you avoid delays.

There are 12 charging spots available, which is a decent capacity, but they can fill up quickly when demand is high. While waiting, you can explore nearby facilities or grab a coffee while your car charges.

Overall, this Tesla Supercharger offers speed, convenience, and reliable access, but timing your visit and checking availability in the app are key to having a smooth experience.

Not sure what is going on, been hit with 50c per minute congestion fees, there was only 2 / 10 chargers being used, so not sure why there needs to be a congestion fee of 50c per minute to get to 100%. / very dissatisfied.

The Tesla Supercharger at Macquarie Centre is a really handy spot if you’re in the area. It’s in the Green Carpark on Level 1U near the valet section and easy to find once you know where it is. There are plenty of chargers and the speeds are good. I’ve always been able to get a spot without waiting which is a big plus.

It can get busy at times though and when it does I find the charge rate can drop to around 60kW. It feels more like a slow charger at that point but it’s still a decent speed and gets the job done. It would also be great to see a few slower 7 to 11kW chargers added nearby for people who don’t need a full supercharge and just want a top up while shopping or working.

I also like how the price flexes depending on the time of day. Charging from midnight to around 9am is much cheaper which makes it worthwhile if you’re out for a late night drive or arrive early.

Very difficult to find if it's your first time here. No signage at all. Located at the indoor carpark at Level 1 Upper near Row F.

From the gantry, go all the way in and turn right. Follow the lower levels signages. There is a yellow bar at the entrance to the lower levels. The entrance is also very small.

Once you're in at level 1, you will see a bunch of red logo on the right side in a  corner. Head towards that direction. It's next to the valet parking. There is a car wash beside it too.

Extremely badly signed - follow VALET parking signs.

Lots of empty parking here, great for moving the car after charging or just normal parking.

Plenty of bays, and goes directly to the shops. Good location as there’s plenty of restaurants, cafes, shopping stores and entertainment facilities.

Recommendation to shopping centre: increase signage to the Tesla charging.
