AI Overview

The chargers are located behind the Vons supermarket, accessible via an alley off Tank Farm Road — not visible from the main street. The lot is illuminated and unattended; drivers note the isolated location may feel uncomfortable when leaving a vehicle to charge unattended. Multiple drivers report intermittent reliability issues with chargers failing to recognize vehicles or not functioning, though recent reports indicate all three stalls were operational.

Works. All connected and functional. Unfortunately it's on the BACKSIDE of the building so it's off unseen and kinda uneasy about it but all works well; especially if you are staying with the vehicle.

Was at this location yesterday 2 of the 3 chargers did not work. Super frustrating messing around trying to get broken chargers to work. Left went round the corner found Charge-point at the Ymca life saver. Thanks EVgo for the cookie cutter response and yes I have now deleted your app and added Charge point now a happy customer !

Unfortunately, this is the only fast charging station in SLO and it's extremely unreliable. I had to go there about 5 times in the three years living there. Every single time, the machine wasn't able to recognize my car was plugged in, and I had to call customer service and wait about 5-8 minutes on hold, going through the process of giving them my personal information every time for them to activate the machine remotely. One time, it stopped the charge partway twice. I was going to have to pay the service fee(3$ at the time) two extra times due to the machine error, but luckily a technician was there to help me waive that fee. Basically, this place should be your last resort place to charge. Plan so that you don't need to rely on this. I've charged at Atascado and Paso many times without any issue whatsoever. My suggestion to the company is to replace the faulty equipment, allow users to pay without downloading the app, and reduce the service fee to the ground if there is still a chance of premature disconnection.

Easy to find and easy to use. 1 charger does not work, the other works well. Was not at all crowded on a Sunday morning.

Keep on finding broken chargers, don't seem very well maintained. Only 1 out of 3 work.
