Membury, UK - Eastbound Supercharger

Despite it saying this is an open charger it was closed to non Tesla vehicles. Our family have a Tesla and another EV so I have no issue with Tesla prioritising Tesla’s, but I do have an issue with this information not being obvious. The chargers here are past the main services so there is no way back!! This caused serious range anxiety on this occasion.

6pm on a Tuesday evening and there were 5 out of 6 chargers available and working - easy plug and charge as usual for Tesla superchargers…though these are old v2 and do with updating to more modern faster units

Used a few times now and typically get a good top up along the M4 into wales or back towards London. Only 6 stalls though so there is a potential to have to wait on occasion.

Planned to stop here to charge, followed the Tesla charger signs and they were not available. Doesn’t look like they’re finished. Issue was they’re after the normal parking spaces and by the time you get to them you’re on your way out. Had to park in the coach spaces to be able to use the services

Just worked, good charge rate between 65kW and 140kW. These are ideally located for trips into Wales and as they are part of a motor way service center are very convenient!
