  Best Supercharger in the area! An abundance of charging outlets, many of them under a Solar roof. And a great Restaurant with local specialties, friendly staff and unique interior. If only the fossil junkies would be towed off when blocking charging stalls!

  A fantastic and huge facility with numerous newer and older Superchargers available – both covered and uncovered. At the covered charging stations, it's also possible to charge with a trailer or even a caravan – depending on the length of the vehicle combination. The Tesla Supercharger on Nellinger Straße in Merklingen is an exceptionally well-designed and modern charging point. The charging stations are spacious, easily accessible, and enable fast, reliable charging – ideal for both short and longer stops. A real bonus is the on-site bakery, "Halbzeit." Here you can get delicious baked goods, snacks, and coffee – perfect for making the most of your charging break. Charging doesn't feel like waiting, but rather like a pleasant break. The entire area is clean, modern, and clearly geared towards travelers. Its convenient location makes this Supercharger particularly attractive for journeys through Baden-Württemberg and for longer trips.   Ideal charging park. Short distance to the highway, countless Tesla charging stations, a great bakery, fast food for off-peak hours when the bakery is closed ("H Alpzeit")...and an Aral petrol station shop for snacks and drinks (also when the bakery is closed).

  This place is one of the best! It's covered, there are always plenty of free spaces, and charging is fast! We used to enjoy using the halfway point, but since they started charging for the restrooms, we go to the other restaurants! Frankly, I think it's outrageous to charge Tesla customers, since they wouldn't have nearly as many customers without them! I certainly wouldn't go there if I didn't need to charge! We'd come back if the mandatory fee were lifted, otherwise not!

  Update: Tesla now installed 40 Superchargers with a solar roof, open to all EVs and with amazing amenities. This is how charging is supposed to be! Great charging location next to A8 with a Burger King and amazing local bakery/restaurant Halbzeit. Parking stalls are extra wide. The site is still under construction with 22 chargers open.

  Sooo many charging stations here! Easily reached max charging speed for our M3 150+kwph, many facilities nearby. A really unique food hall, albeit slightly expensive, to check out (Halbzeit). A cheeky Audi had used 2 bays to park his car + trailer, but didn't prevent anyone from charging here. We used this station twice due to its ease and location.
