This is the Supercharger I use all the time when I visit family in South Bend from my home in the Indianapolis area. It’s in a relatively congested area, so access isn’t that convenient if you are just passing through, and I’ve never seen particularly fast charge rates despite the 250 kW advertised rate, but I’ve always been able to charge without waiting and the MEIJER parking lot itself isn’t overly crowded, so that’s a plus.

Worked great when tested with our 2024 Nissan Ariya (and the official Nissan-Tesla NACS adapter). Only note is to beware of "Tesla bros" that will try to stop a non-Tesla from using the charging station. There's plenty of stalls for everyone though, so shouldn't be an issue.

Chargers work great but why put another SC so close to the original ones very, very nearby. Probably for the ND folks, but other areas of SB need SCs too.

With 12 charging stalls, it's generally not hard to find an open spot. Not too far of a stroll to the front doors of Meijer or Panda Express, this is a convenient location between Elkhart and South Bend.

This is a version 3 250 kW supercharger. The supercharger one mile up the road at the mall is an early version 2 120 kW supercharger. This has been needed for a long time in South Bend. It’s not anywhere near a highway, but is very convenient for Notre Dame students and people visiting the campus for games, etc.
in theory starting Jan 1 2024 this will be available to any EV that can use the NACS with a CCS adapter.
