This is a great supercharger up to 250kw. There are 8 Tesla charger stalls. There a Wawa here and shopping within walking distance (TJ Maxx). This Wawa has lots of snack items and a bathroom.

Nice and convenient. Walmart, Qdoba, Wawa within very close proximity.

Severely overcrowded; reroute if possible. We use this charger at least once every 3 months when we visit family in the area, and the Janaf charger is always a bit of a sore spot for our trip planning - it’s the closest charger to our destination, so it’s unavoidable as a pre destination top-off stop (L2 infrastructure is nonexistent in the Chesapeake area). Since it’s so high traffic, even if you don’t have a wait getting into a spot, your charge time will be severely reduced - it is a shared power charger, so between the hours of 8AM and 11PM you’re almost guaranteed to be sharing 150kW with another driver. I have only once been able to charge at full speed at this charger, but it was 4 in the morning. Food options are good during the day, but I am not comfortable at this charger after dark.

Centrally located facility in Virginia Beach. Easy to find. Outdoors. Was there on Father's Day and the spots were full. One Tesla had to wait about 20 minutes to get into a spot. Retail and food options are not super close.

Pretty convenient location for a charging station in Norfolk, especially since options are limited. Take a quick break, grab a bite to eat and log into the wifi at Panera Bread or Qdoba across the street, maybe stroll through the Walmart next door and get a few groceries. Even a Bounce House for your antsy kids! I tend to pass by this station often since it's right off of I-64 and it's rare for me to see more than two cars plugged in at a time since there aren't many people with electric cars around here. With up to six superchargers available 24/7, I'm fairly certain you'll be able to get a spot here to charge.
