Oakland, CA - 2nd Street Supercharger

This Supercharger is the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. The ground is perpetually sticky, not with grime but with urine. I’m forced to wear shoe booties that I had in my car. It’s a shame that Tesla would permit this place to exist. It’s a clear indication of the decline of the Tesla brand. Despite this, I still go there because the chargers are always available due to this issue. I’m a glutton for punishment.

Have to go through the entrance gate and additionally pay for the parking.

I have never had to pay for parking to exit; the gate has always been open. Less cost than other Supercharging stations.

Smells like pot and piss, garbage everywhere, a car filled with people smoking pot although it’s legal, have some courtesy for other people, don’t ruin it for the rest of us.

Then on top of that a hoodlum was pretending to hold a pretend gun pointing at their car, if I had children, I would have defended my family if this individual came up to my car like that.

There should be a feature when you’re charging that dampens the sounds.

Not worth the low fees.

These chargers are located inside of a dimly-lit parking garage that charges $2 per hour for entry. People should not have to pay extra fees just to physically access a charger, especially when these chargers are the slower, older generation that would not be considered superchargers by today’s standards. Avoid if possible.
