AI Overview

Chargers are located behind the Banana Republic building on the west side of the lot; pull-in spots are illuminated but parking is paid. Recent reports indicate reliability issues — one charger has frequently been unavailable, and the other's screen is difficult to read due to sun exposure. The lot may be gated after hours during mall closures.

There are 2 chargers. The one on right said it was unavailable. Hard to read screen on charger on the left due to heat damage or age. This charger is located behind Gap.

Ok, so hear me out on this one. This charging station is at the outlet mall, so bonus, you can shop while charging. BUT, the better part of this charging station is the location! It's sits right outside the nicest restrooms I've seen. As far as public restrooms go, these are 5 Star. Clean, stocked, and very nice. I'm told by my girl that there is a couch in the female side, so if you have to wait, there's a nice couch. Also benches outside for waiting and even a vending machine area. If you need a charge and you cruising the I-17, this is the place to charge.

The worst screen placement. The sun washes out the instructions,so a two minute hookup is a 10 minute dance with your body shadow. Can't imagine it's slower than any other charger. But it seemed like it. As one of the few chargers heading north on I-17. You would think they would identify the location better, upgrade the screens, and ensure the inner workings are always top-notch.

The Google EV listing says it is free. It is not free and is $2.40 per hour if you sign up and prepay them with their membership or $3.60 per hour if you just want to pay as you go.
