Petaling Jaya, Malaysia - Sunway Pyramid Supercharger

Idk y need to implement a valet charge… wouldn’t it only be promoting hoarding of the chargers??? And it’s quite unreasonable to top up because why I need the rights just to PARK there. +valet workers over there don’t even check whether you charge or not. It feels like having an teala only gives you the green light to park there than solely for charging only.

Located outside the mall, so naturally you think that the only cost is charging. Nope, because it’s within the valet parking zone. You have to pay for the valet parking, it’s a special rate of RM5 for the first hour and anything after is the standard valet rate. I was wondering why the chargers are always empty at such a popular place, this is why. Hope they can reconsider just letting us use the charger for a few minutes (that’s all we need at superchargers) and not paying any parking fees. Users will either park and pay themselves again later or continue on their journey.

Not easy to access this location if you are coming out from the Sunway Pyramid Hotel carpark unless you know which exit to use.

Came around 7am and no valet was around.

The supercharge work well but the parking need to pay RM5/hr. One time i’m come here on 12am they are still there and charge me RM5/hr

Tip: RM5 per hour parking fee for charging. Assuming you charge for less than 1 hour, do allow the charger to be plugged in (provided other charging bays are empty and idle fee is not applicable), should you wish to utilise the remaining 1 hour of your time.

The parking management will disallow you from leaving your car at the charging bay once you unplugged the charger as it will be treated as normal parking and the standard valet parking rates will be applicable i.e. RM20 (weekdays) and RM25 (weekends/public holidays).
