My friend from Los Angeles and I drove from Elk Grove to test charge my 2023 VinFast VF8 Plus City Edition EV using a CCS to Tesla adapter. The connection was surprisingly easy, and my VF8 charged faster at 40kW compared to my friend's TMS Plaid, which only reached 36kW – I'm not sure why the difference. The convenience of the Target/SaveMart/Ross shopping center meant we could also grab a bite at Mountain Mike's Pizza or Habit Burger & Grill and use their restrooms.

Adapter friendly station with integrated adapters as well. Worked great and near shopping so good for a longer stop.

One of the few Tesla chargers equipped with the "universal dock." I downloaded the Tesla app, set up a payment, and it worked flawlessly on my XC40 with CCS.

This is the 2nd from the last Supercharger from Bay Area to South Lake Tahoe which is equipped 250kW (fastest) charger, where the last one is only 150kW.
It is in the parking lot of Target that has Starbucks and CVS drugstore inside. They also sell fresh foods, beer & wine and gears for play in Tahoe! So buy something at Target and bathrooms are available there too.

Save Mart is also in the same mall, as  well as car parts store.

In the back of the target parking lot. Easy to find and fastest super charger before going to south lake. Good for rejuicing on my road trips and was empty both times I visited. Has target for bathrooms and some food options nearby.
