  Fast charger. Not too crowded when I was there. Good that there facilities there like restaurants, fully equipped gasstation etc. When I have a long drive from Netherlands to Denmark we usually stop here and would do it again. Safe rides!

  Unfortunately, not recommended for a relaxing charging break. The Supercharger in Neu Wulmstorf only offers eight charging points, which is far too few for the increasing number of Tesla drivers in the area. The charging spots fill up extremely quickly, so you practically always have to expect waiting times, especially during peak hours or on weekends. This is frustrating when you only want to top up quickly and then have to wait another 20–30 minutes until a charging spot even becomes available. On the plus side, there's a McDonald's right nearby, so you can at least grab a coffee or a snack if you have to wait a while. However, this hardly disguises the fact that the charging infrastructure here is clearly inadequate and the location urgently needs expansion. ... Conclusion: ✅ Fast charging performance as usual with Tesla ✅ McDonald's in the immediate vicinity ❌ Far too few charging points ❌ Long waiting times almost always to be expected I would only use this location if there is truly no alternative — otherwise, it's better to check beforehand whether a less busy Supercharger is available nearby.

  December 2024: Chargers have been upgraded to v4 chargers. Even when all are occupied I achieved a nice 171 kW charging speed. July 2023: Well working chargers. No problems with trucks blocking the chargers. Nearby McDonalds to use the restroom or get some snack or drink. There are not that many chargers and they're quite busy so idle fees apply here.

  🔋🔋🔋🔋 - New V4 Supercharger - always busy, and a rest stop and McDonald's are within easy walking distance. Stretching your legs or taking the dog for a walk is also possible. Very busy on weekends, as it's a popular route towards Denmark. 10 more Superchargers would have been a welcome addition to the location. If it's ever crowded, there are 6 more Superchargers available a 4-minute drive away at Hof Bartels. #uninterrupted charging

  This used to be a great charging location, but the adjoining truck stop can get so busy that access to the actual chargers can get blocked by tailbacks of trucks. Furthermore, now that tesla has opened the network to non-tesla cars, its harder to find open chargers. You are better off charging in Bremen if you are travelling on that highway…
