Located on the east side of the Ralphs parking lot, near Euclid Street.

Ralphs 71 (Garden Grove, CA)

I frequent these chargers and can confirm all charging stalls are fully functional. Three facing Euclid St and one in front of Walgreens. I had successful charging sessions in all times I visited. It’s in a plaza where there’s a Ralphs, Walgreens and some fast food joints. Area is safe and spacious but can definitely get busy during the weekend or holiday rushes. When all stalls are filled people normally wait by one of the parking spots close to it. However I have seen drivers just wait in the driveway areas or by the big metal container next to the charging stalls.

The charging stalls have a strict max 85% SoC. Anything past that you will be charged a fee and charging stops. This is great because it prevents people from hogging them up unnecessarily. You only need to charge to 80% anyways. Past 80% and it takes longer, which could end up costing you more.

Would be nice if they installed more charging stalls next to the existing ones facing Euclid. There are numerous parking spots there that never get used from what I have seen. If not would be nice if there was a more organized way to “wait in line” for a charger. Currently it’s a bit messy.

Aug 2024 update 350kw chargers.

1 out of 4 chargers out of service. The 350kw charger that I plugged into never went past 88kw even though I started at 30%.

2/3 chargers not working. 1 permanently damaged. #2 they tried reset on the help line and still didn’t work. #3 worked but the helpline dude thought there were 4 and that I just wasn’t counting correctly 😂

Charger #1 fluctuates in charging speed. Drops as low as 30kW.

All chargers were working except for one! They need to send out repair people at least once a week or once every two weeks to see what's broken and fix it! Also put up more 350kw chargers  so people don't have to wait so long. Thank U!
