Chargers are located in the middle of parking lot of Round Rock Premium Outlets, close to(N interstate 35 frontage Rd).

Update:
Stopped yesterday and charged from 23% to 57%, took about 10 minutes and around $14. Much improved over my previous visit.

(old) The photo shows someone charging, but when we arrived they looked like it was still under construction. I hope it opens soon.

They recently updated these chargers but while charging, I noticed even at a Hyper Fast charger, it’s only pulling 33kW.
Glad they got these updated, hopefully this slow pull is due to time of day.

These chargers always have multiple offline and a long line waiting to use the others. This is an all too familiar sight at this location. Other Electrify America locations have been great for me. Heck, I even drive cross country using EA and never had a problem. This is the only location that is always plagued with headaches. They need to rip and replace this hardware and add more chargers.

Tried this charger twice this weekend on my way to and from San Antonio. The first experience was stressful. There was multiple lines forming so it was not clear as to who was next. The charger that I pulled into did not work so I had to call and relocate to a new station.

The second time was alot less painful. Stopped to charge and connected easily.  It was not busy when I arrived but when we were leaving it was a bit hectic.

This charging station is hear a shopping area so it helped to get a quick coffee and restroom break.

Electrify America has become the only charging station I trust for a long trip. If they don’t have an Electrify America on my route I’m going to take my gas powered vehicle.

I’ve been stranded a few times because I get to a charging station and it’s out of service so there’s nothing better than pulling up to Electrify America seeing 8+ available charging spots!

The charge is fast, the pricing is great, and they’re always next to a shopping area giving you something to do while your vehicle charges.

*In this case we are right next to a premium outlet mall and then block away coffee shops, grocery stores, clothing stores etc*
