AI Overview
Located on the southwest side of the Safeway parking lot near Piedmont Avenue. Four chargers total: three grouped at the edge of the lot and one separate near the Safeway entrance. Free parking with pull-in spaces large enough for trailers. Drivers note the location is frequently busy and recommend using the app to start charging rather than the card reader. One charger (stall #4) has shown reliability issues in recent reports; the three grouped chargers are reported as consistently working.

Busy location, but the CCS charger worked fine both times we were there last year.

Great spot to charge for the traveler. It's a 350k charger, right across the street from a laundromat in a Safeway parking lot.

Only can charge to 85% but really helps when I come to the coast.

If you’re lucky there’s one WORKING charger available. It took months of calls to get charger no. 2 serviced and today it has a black screen. Wait times are over an hour. No. 4 is down, No.3 is charging extremely slow. People waiting are usually super nice and often get out of their cars to have conversations. I used to own a Tesla and never talked to other owners so I guess that’s a positive.

This location is crowded and only four stations total so one of the smaller ones. My station at least had really good speeds so no complaints and I liked that it was at a store where I could co inside to kill some time and get some snacks.
