There is an abundant supply of charging stations accessible. The area provides ample room and is well-maintained.

Clean, well maintained, almost always a charger available, and almost every charger works!

WOMEN BEWARE!!!! It is not safe here.   The “owner of the lot” (supposedly this man in a green shirt and doo rag), feels entitled to get too close to people’s personal property and cars when they are charging their cars.  I had to stop charging my car because he continued to come close to my front bumper with his metal trash stick, even after I politely asked for him to stop and leave me alone and not get close to my car.  He attempted to get other male customers to gang up and gaslight my concerns for safety and concerns for preventing property damage.  I will never charge my car here again, and have reported the incident to Electrify America.  It must be why everywhere else there’s no chargers available but at that lot there were so many open. He probably scares away many people.  It is ridiculous that he needs to maintain the property during peak charging times, and can’t find a different time to go maintain the lot when there are not so many people there are trying to charge their cars.   He was very dismissive and said that all the cars are new and expensive on the lot so it didn’t matter if he was getting close to my car with his metal stick and it didn’t matter if I was concerned about property damage.”  He was very rude and demeaning tried to say that,  “his car was newer than mine, and that it didn’t matter because everybody there has a new car.”   He even when as far as to accuse me of having a “mental health issue,” simply for speaking up for myself! I certainly hope that Electrify American has contracts preventing him from coming near customers or disturbing customers who are paying for use of the chargers! He thinks that he is entitled to get near people’s personal property and be aggressive because he supposedly owns the parking lot. It is incredible that he could be so mean when someone is just asking for him to not damage their property.

Another Issue: Also there are homeless people in the area that are of concern and there was another meal customer who was raucous enough to urinate in the alley.  He did look around and think that he was far enough that nobody could see him. But I literally had to turn around to shield my eyes from seeing his private parts. Once again, this not a safe place for women to charge their cars.  I suggest with as many chargers as they have and as many issues as happen in less than an hour that they go ahead and get security on staff there as soon as possible.

They don't keep the area clean. The trash cans are left to overflow for days at a time

Edit on October 25. Raised from 3 to 4 stars. They have been keeping it far cleaner. No more overflowing cans and the sidewalk and planter areas are improved.

Very new charging station in Santa Monica super fast and not busy at all This is my fifth time and never even waited. always have vacant chargers.
