AI Overview

Multiple drivers report consistently unreliable charger operation — frequent connection errors, chargers stopping mid-session, and needing to try different units or call customer support to complete a charge. Charger screens are heavily scratched and difficult to read. The location is in a high-crime area; drivers advise against charging at night and note the lot is poorly lit with no nearby security cameras.

I read the reviews for this charging stations and being from memphis I thought the reviews were a over reaction. They were not. We waited for a hour for these "fast chargers" and while we waited we watched a man sharpen a axe outside the save alot and try it on trees... and then brought it inside said savalot and was not questioned or stopped and this was during the day... so I will be passing this charger in all future trips. And it is infact not a fast charger, max it got to for chademo was 21... when on the app it claims more then 100, to 65kw... ALSO surcharge of 55 DOLLARS???? I will never touch this machine with a 10 foot pole.

This company has no interest in wanting to provide a good charging experience. Chargers are left in poor conditions and barely work most of the time. They also expect you to pay full rate, even though their superchargers never work! Horrible company and seriously do better.

Avoid these chargers unless absolutely necessary! DO NOT charge here at night - this is a really bad area, poorly lit, and there are no security cameras nearby. You are not safe here. Charger screens are faded and impossible to read in the sun. Randomly stops charging. When working, charge speed is all over the place, randomly limited (often won't exceed 30-40kW in a 2018 Bolt EV, other chargers hit 50kW)

Sheer garbage. Charged here 4 times and have had to call EVgo literally each and every time. Granted the customer service people on the phone are helpful and it gets to working every time, but imagine having to call shell everytime you went to their gas station to get the pump to work. Is that not insane?

If you value your life, I wouldn’t go here because it’s a bad area. The charger does the job for CCS1 fast charging. I got 69 KW with my Kia Niro EV
