Seems ok, nice clean hotel with comfy seats by the bar. Special meal deal for Tesla owners (see pic), don’t forget to put your reg in the terminal at reception or the bar!

We went at night and didn't know that we have to pay for the parking. got a parking ticket. Tesla should show on the app at least that we have to pay for the parking

I charged my Tesla at this hotel and was later issued a £100 parking charge due to poor and unclear signage. There was no obvious indication that you must also register your vehicle separately after plugging in. Any signage that does exist is badly positioned and very easy to miss.

When I contacted the hotel, the response was extremely disappointing. They claimed they take no responsibility because parking is managed by ParkingEye. This is simply not good enough. Hotels that choose to work with parking enforcement companies do have control—they can cancel tickets, improve signage, and change how the system operates.

Given the sheer number of one-star reviews on the hotels page describing the exact same issue, it’s hard not to question why nothing has been fixed. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the hotel benefits financially from this arrangement, which might explain the lack of urgency or willingness to help affected guests.

Outsourcing parking enforcement does not outsource responsibility. Until signage is clear and the hotel starts taking accountability, I wouldn’t recommend charging here.

I would avoid, as you have to register your car at reception to avoid parking charge. To me it defeats simplicity of just plugging in, especially as it was raining at the time. It also has a lot of signs reminding people, which kind of makes it look a bit ugly for the hotel unfortunately. You can understand why as I'm sure people get stung with the £100 penalty.

Great bank of Tesla car chargers in the car park, plus 2 regular electric car chargers. You have to register your number plate in the bar to avoid paying parking charges, this is done on a tablet conveniently located at the bar.
