Located at the Entrance of the Sheetz Gas Station near to the Signage.

Even with a credit card inside my Electrify America apps, I have manually provide fund into the account first before charging. Seems unable to use NFC from the phone to charge, had to  tap "start charge" in the apps. The charger kicked me off so fast, so only after several tries it was successful.

The only fault I have is the location isn’t convenient to the highway.  You have to drive about 2.5 miles through downtown Scranton to find it. Once there it’s easy to use, the store is pretty clean, and the bathroom was just inside the door.

New hardware has been installed (the more reliable BTC Power chargers). With the good weather, the car’s battery was primed to take the maximum charge for the model (a Kia EV6) and the equipment worked seamlessly (communicating with my phone’s app using the RFID reader, the handshake between charger and car, maintaining a high rate of charge even in 95°F weather which means the cooling system in the cable is faultless - the temperature sensor and cooling system in the older chargers was what caused them to fail so often, so this really was a baptism by fire).

The chargers are on the forecourt to a 24 hour gas station that has a good selection of food and drink, clean toilet facilities, and it’s surrounded by grass for taking a dog for a walk / toilet break as the car charges.

PLEASE NOTE - your car’s on-board navigation is not updated in real time. Many cars will receive a couple of software updates at most a year, and that’s when the map is updated. For any charger company, it’s best to check their own website / app for a location’s real-time status and check the PlugShare website / app for updates from the EV community that have a vested interest in letting people know what’s going on (there’s quite a detailed timeline of the work being done at this location on PlugShare).

3/4 chargers were occupied when we arrived and the app showed one open. Unfortunately the open charger was down but the app didn't indicate that. Thankfully the person next to me left right after and we were able to charge.

driving my F150, lightning, towing a 26 foot trailer, this was actually pretty decent place to charge. I took the President Biden expressway to route 11 to Mulberry Street and that was all pretty trailer/truck friendly. Upon arriving to the Sheets, I was able to drop my at the gas station refill location. (lol, thankfully no tractor-trailer was doing a refill on the gas station). after dropping the trailer, I hooked myself right up to the charger and started pulling full power. (130-150kw) . And of course, being that it was Sheetz, they had a full-service kitchen great snacks, bathroom I'm pretty much anything I needed to eat to get me on the way while I waited for my charge. very satisfactory experience overall!
