AI Overview
Chargers are located on floor B of a parking garage. The station entrance is off Sierra Avenue rather than Highway 101, despite its Highway 101 proximity. Drivers report that some non-Tesla vehicles with offset charge ports may occupy multiple stalls during peak times. Bathrooms in the parking area require a key from a nearby shop.

Rivian blocking 2 stalls when it was full cause its charge port is in a different location. They shouldn't allow vehicles that can't use the same charger as the stall it's pulled into to charge when it's congested.

Tesla Supercharger station located off Highway 101 at Beachwalk Shopping Center in Solana Beach, CA: 🚗 Charging Experience This is a Tesla Supercharger with 8 high-speed stalls (~250 kW), available 24/7 for EV drivers with the correct adapter. Works best for Tesla vehicles and EVs equipped with the NACS adapter/CCS compatibility. I appreciate the convenient location right off Highway 101 with relatively easy access. Charging process is easy and straightforward (plug-and-play with the Tesla app). Availability is usually decent, but — like many Supercharger spots — it can get busier during peak travel times. This location charges both Tesla and compatible EVs (with adapter), though pricing may be higher than home charging or some public chargers. Since it’s in a shopping center, you’ll often find nearby amenities like food and restrooms while you wait (great for quick stops). ✔️ Pros Fast, high-power charging 🚀 24/7 access Good location with nearby services ❗ Cons Can be busy during peak periods Pricing can be higher for non-Tesla EVs

HARD TO FIND ! We needed to charge our Tesla Y on the way home to San Clemente from San Diego. This parking lot is listed as being on Hwy 101 but both entrances are on S Sierra Ave and there is no Tesla Supercharger sign outside the parking lot. There are 8 x 250 kW charging bays and only 3 were in use when we arrived around 1pm on Saturday. There are a number of cafes and other shops close by. FAST CHARGE !

The Riuvians take 2 spaces each. Rivian needs to provide a cable with the adapter or they need to ban Rivians. It won’t work if half the spots are empty because Rivians are blocking them. See the photo - their charger is on the wrong side. It’s just not okay.

250kw but not when it is full. Even then the speeds are nothing to complain about as the beach is just steps away from the charger making for a perfect place to charge and get some steps or even a very quick swim in if the car is empty.
