Springfield, IL Supercharger

EV Tesla Supercharger Failure.

8 chargers outside of the Scheels in Springfield IL not showing up as available on Tesla app. I checked the station as well to see if there was a way to pay/charge without the app but doesn't look like that feature/function is available.

Unfortunate... first attempt at relying on Tesla Charger Network was a let down. Searched for alternatives and found a Walmart Electrify America Charger close by.

Not from area and not aware of what a scheels is so chose this charger hoping to grab something to eat. Scheels is a sporting goods store with a cafe inside and the selection is very limited. Not super satisfied with menu but i had no other choice but to eat here. Has another restaurant and brewery nearby you can walk to. Also, the chargers are on the back corner of the parking lot so it is a little hike to get to the front door. Charge here if you like sporting goods. Go elsewhere if you dont.

This is the Tesla charging station you want to go to in Springfield Illinois. The other one is in a grocery store parking lot. This one is in Scheels parking lot which is absolutely incredible if you've never been!

Just left this supercharger station. We arrived at 8am so there were lots of chargers available. Scheels was still closed so there wasn't much for us and the kiddos to do while we waited. We were fully charged to 270 miles in about 35 mins. This came as a surprise because the TESLA app said it would take 55mins. I'm still new to this whole EV language of kW etc. The Scheels still wasn't open when we left. I've read the other reviewers comments and this would be a different stop at night. I gave this a four star review because though there were lots of chargers and we charged relatively quickly with just two other vehicles parked, there really isn't much around. It seems there's a whole different experience without the Scheels being open. I'm sure that'll change over the next few years.

Kinda in middle of nowhere if you are there in off hours . Scheels is right by station but it's operating hour varies. But there is hotel right by where u can use restroom. We got here at 8am.
1 less star is for that. For off hour people passing by would love to have remote restroom.
