Swartz Creek, MI Supercharger

Two stops here unfortunately. IT IS NOT A 150 kW CHARGING STATION. It’s actually a 59-60kW charger. My first trip I stopped at charger 5B and after I walked into Meijer got a notification that there was an error with the charger so I went back out, moved the car plugged it back in, went into the store and noticed that I was still only charging it about 60 kW. I didn’t need much charge so I just finished up and left on my way home. I unfortunately decided to stop again and top off for my trip home. The second trip I hooked up to station 3A and I am only charging at 59 kW. Very disappointed. Took twice as long as it should have and as it was advertised to take.

Well lit location that is very close to the exit. Drive through Bigby next to it, and Meijer door is a relatively short walk.

Wow. They have 10 vehicle chargers here in front of Meijers. Rite off of I69 too. Its actually a great place for them if the electric vehicles ever take off. They look to be free to use as well. Very cool.

Fairly busy on the weekend. Gen 3 chargers are needed since these could only do max 147 kW (max the car pulled at a low state of charge). Meijer is close by though which was convenient.

Not crowded. Conveniently located in Meijer parking lot so great for a quick Shopping trip while car gets charged
