⚠️TOW WARNING⚠️

The Tesla Supercharger at Tacoma Mall Blvd (#5219) is convenient but has serious design flaws. The poor parking layout creates a chaotic, free-for-all situation where drivers often resort to using chargers backwards, leading to confusion and inefficiency.

What’s more concerning is the towing situation. Lakewood Towing frequently monitors the area, and we witnessed a Tesla being towed. Be extremely cautious not to leave your car unattended after charging is complete.

The posted towing sign states that unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles will be towed, but it doesn’t clarify what counts as “improper parking.” This vague language makes it even more stressful to charge here. I’m attaching a photo of the towing sign and a Tesla being towed for reference.

While the chargers themselves work fine, the lack of organization and the towing risk make this location less appealing compared to other Supercharger stations.

Was able to find this supercharger with ease. Charged successfully and got 500 speed.

This charging station is incredibly convenient, especially if you're on the go and don't want to drive far off the I-5. Charging speed was slightly slower than other 250kW chargers I've used, but it still got the job done. The best part is that it's walking distance to a Jack in the Box and a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, perfect for grabbing a quick bite while you wait.

Super slow charger, there was 2 other people charging. It took 1 hour to charge 30 miles with 56 minutes pre condition waste of time. Do not recommend this location.

It’s alright, off I5 , stalls are labeled to charge on the other side, some do some don’t . Trash bins provided which is great. Nearest restroom is at Jack in Box.
